Dec. 5, 1992: In Birmingham, No. 12 Florida falls to No. 2 Alabama in the first-ever SEC Championship Game. Crimson Tide defensive back Antonio Langham intercepts Gator quarterback Shane Matthews' pass and returns it 27 yards for the go ahead score. The Crimson Tide remains undefeated with the 28-21 win.
