Dec. 23, 1983: At the Holiday Bowl in San Diego, Brigham Young stuns Missouri as Cougar quarterback Steve Young (2001 College Hall of Fame inductee) drives his team 94 yards for the win. On a trick play, halfback Eddie Stinnett caps off the drive, throwing a 14-yard pass to Young with 23 seconds left in the game to seal the 21-17 victory.
