Dec. 28, 1984: No. 9 Oklahoma State upsets No. 7 South Carolina 21-14 at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville. Trailing 14-13 with less then two minutes in the game, Oklahoma State quarterback Rusty Hilger's leads the Cowboys 88-yards cumulating with a 25-yard touchdown pass to tight end Barry Hanna. 2008 College Football Hall of Fame inductee Thurman Thomas rushed for 155 yards and was named MVP.
