This Date in College Football History

Nov. 13, 1982: Having not lost a game at home since 1963, Alabama's 57-game home winning streak in Tuscaloosa comes to an end against Southern Mississippi. Golden Eagle quarterback Reggie Collier rushes for 88 yards and three touchdowns, while tailback Sam Dejarnette adds 153 yards and two touchdowns, as Southern Miss upsets No. 17 Crimson Tide 38-29.
