This Date in College Football History

Nov. 10, 1990: Brigham Young quarterback Ty Detmer passes Jim McMahon (1999 College Hall of Fame inductee) as BYU's career passing yardage leader, completing 35-50 for 484 yards and two touchdowns in a 45-14 win over Wyoming in Laramie. The game also marks the 21st straight time Detmer passed for 300-plus yards.
