Marquee Match-up: Missouri at Texas
Saturday, October 18 at 7 p.m. (CST) on ABC

Two powerhouse teams from the Big 12 conference will square off Saturday in Austin, Texas. Senior Chase Daniel takes Missouri on the road to avenge the Tigers' devastating loss last week against Oklahoma State. Daniel has thrown for 2,055 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, completing 76 percent of his passes. A 2007 O'Brien Finalist, Daniel hopes to move on from last week's game as Mizzou takes on the top-ranked Longhorns.

"Its one for the ages," Daniel said of the game against Texas in his weekly press conference. "They picked us for primetime ABC television so there's going to be a big audience on the field and off the field as well."

The Longhorns earned a No. 1 ranking after defeating the Oklahoma Sooners 45-35 last Saturday. Colt McCoy threw for 277 yards and a touchdown in the Red River Rivalry game, bringing his total for the season to 1,557 and 17, respectively. The junior quarterback also leads the Longhorns in rushing yards with 348.

McCoy, who has been friends with Daniel since high school, is looking forward to facing him on the field. "If there was something in common it's that we both want to win and that competitive nature in us," McCoy said of his opponent in Monday's press conference. "It's going to be a fun game. He does a great job in his system and in his offense."

Both quarterbacks have been highlighted twice as O'Brien Quarterbacks of the Week due to their outstanding level of play. More than 94,000 fans plus representatives from The O'Brien will fill Texas Memorial Stadium to see the two perform.
