Oct. 22, 1904: Bobby Marshall scores the most points ever by a player with 72 (almost half his team's total) in Minnesota's 146-0 triumph over Grinnell (Iowa) in Minneapolis. The Golden Gophers go on to finish the season a perfect 13-0.
