In five seasons at Eastern Kentucky, Coach Danny Hope posted a record of 35-22 including a 9-3 season in 2007 when the Colonels went 8-0 in Ohio Valley play winning the school’s first conference championship in 10 years, earning him Ohio Valley Coach of the Year honors. In 2008, Hope returned to Purdue were he once coached the offensive line, as the "coach-in-waiting" taking over the reigns from legendary headman Joe Tiller.
