Sept. 24, 1994: NFF Hall of Fame head coach LaVell Edwards of Brigham Young wins his 200th game as the Cougars edge New Mexico 49-47 in Provo. At the time, Edwards is the 13th coach in NCAA Division I-A (now the FBS) to hit the 200-victory plateau.
