Nov. 15, 1890: Minnesota and Wisconsin meet for the first time ever as the Golden Gophers roll to a 63-0 triumph. It’s just the fourth game ever played by the Badgers and begins a 117-year rivalry between the Big Ten Conference members. The teams play continuously from 1890-1905 and then 1907-present, competing for Paul Bunyan’s Axe.
