Sept. 4, 1982: Future College Football Hall of Fame quarterback Doug Flutie ruins debut of new Texas A&M head coach Jackie Sherrill, as Boston College beats the Aggies 38-16 in College Station. Boston College scores on its first four possessions, as Flutie completes 18-26 for 346 yards, three touchdowns, adding another one on the ground.
