WHAT YOU MISSED: THE TEAM THAT CANNOT AFFORD TO LOOK BACK IS…
California Visiting UCLA (October 20, 3:30, ABC): As tough as it may be, the Golden Bears cannot look back and lament last week’s loss to Oregon St. They must regroup and focus on the future, which this week includes a UCLA team that, despite all its faults, is still undefeated in the Pac-10. Cal must remember what their goals are, and that they are still intact. With Arizona St. and USC still on their slate, they hold destiny in their hands as far as a conference title is concerned and who knows, if they run the table, Jeff Tedford, DeSean Jackson and company could even play themselves back into the National Title picture, but it all begins this week. State beat them last week -- they can’t let them beat them again.
