Next Level Scouting, Inc. is reporting that Florida senior tight end Cornelius Ingram will miss the upcoming college football season after an MRI on his left knee revealed a torn ACL.
He had an MRI on his left knee Thursday morning to determine the extent of the injury he suffered during 1-on-1 drills during Tuesday's fall practice. Team doctors initially diagnosed him with a strained left knee, according to one source, but the full extent of the injury was not known until yesterday.
Ingram had thought about declaring for the NFL Draft as an underclassmen, but felt returning for his senior year could help improve his grade with the hopes of being taken in the first-round.
